Austin Wildcats CARE Rules
The expectations we set at the beginning of each practice to foster a positive learning environment.
We work together as a team, listen to our coaches, and support each other. Concentration means following instructions and being a good teammate.
We maintain a positive attitude even when things get challenging. A good attitude means trying our best and staying enthusiastic about learning.
We show respect to our coaches, teammates, and ourselves. Respect means using kind words, listening when others speak, and treating equipment properly.
We give our best effort in every drill and activity. Effort means trying hard even when something is difficult and never giving up.
How We Implement CARE
At the beginning of each practice, coaches remind players of our CARE rules. Throughout the session, we recognize and praise players who demonstrate these values. This consistent approach helps create a positive learning environment where all children can thrive.
Parents' Role
We encourage parents to reinforce these CARE values at home. Ask your child about how they showed Concentration, Attitude, Respect, and Effort during practice. Celebrating these values off the court helps children understand their importance in all aspects of life.
